The Norwich Gaming Festival is returning to The Forum for its third year and organisers have today announced the festival dates for 2016: Monday 28 March to Saturday 2 April. Organised and hosted by The Forum with support from local partners, the festival celebrates all aspects of video games and their development, bringing a mix of education, entertainment and technology to Norwich. Students have voted NUA as the best specialist arts, design and media university in the UK in the National Student Survey 2015 for the third year running.
NUA and film software developers, FXHOME, have created and launched a free online course, “Visual Effects for Guerrilla Filmmakers”, showing how visual effects can be created without big budgets. Find out more.
Two NUA graduates were both selected among the top six graduate designers of 2015 to show collections at The Clothes Show, held at the NEC Birmingham in December.
Researchers at NUA will partner with the Broads Landscape Partnership to explore the Norfolk Broads through illustrative practice after the University was awarded funding to support the project.
